It's called a TV!!! A TV!!! I knew I'd figure that out soon......wow, what a marvellous item.....and what an exciting day!! See that thing I'm sitting on.....it's my very own scratch-patch! The humanoids brought it home for me. It's just beautiful and it smells wonderful too. I love my scratch-patch. Love it! I think this is officially my favourite place in the whole wide world (with The Bathroom of course).

About Me
- Dexter
- In the early hours of April 18th 2010, in an outdoor cat run, I was born. My mother was a famous pure bred Persian....my father was a shadow in the night I never knew. When I was 4 weeks old, I was put up for adoption and that's where this story begins.

So this is me.......just being ridiculously cute. Inbetween being cute, I'm also starting to experiment with my humanoids and slowly training them to carry out my every wish......so far I can get a cuddle or scratch purely by rolling over and tilting my head. Twice a day I get food which is great but if I combine light tapping on their feet and loads of adorable noises, they bring the food to me a lot faster.

This was the moment I realised running water was soooooo much better than water in a bowl......massive difference! Only problem with my love for water from a tap - the really kitten-unfriendly handles you have to turn....unless.....I could always train my humanoids to turn them for me surely? I think that's a great idea! I'll train them starting today - but first, let me have one more lick.

In one of my territories (yup, I'm starting to own areas now....The Bathroom already belongs to me) there is a warm, bright box that the humanoids sit in front of. I don't totally understand what it is but it's quite interesting - lots of moving, colourful things. I've checked round the back of it.....nothing......tried swatting and licking......nothing......it's all a bit strange but I like the lights.

Day by day I was learning new ways to be adorably cute! I could hide behind doors, or walls or peek out under a pillow or even poke my head through the stairs - this house was my kingdom to conquer!!
....but I feel I should make special mention to "my happy place" in between this wood and concrete jungle.....a place I lovingly call The Bathroom.....I can't quite put my paw on it, but there's something unique here.....
..........maybe it's the way the light catches my fur......
......or the way this basin is made to hold cute kittens.....who knows.....but I love The Bathroom!

This was me at 6 and half weeks old......it's around the time my humanoid (the man) gave me my nickname - Ninja Cat. Not totally sure what's meant by this but am hoping it's pretty cool. I like this metal-play-thing very much and get to practise my balancing techniques regularly. I think the metal also shows off my cute neck fluff.
My humanoids and I got along brilliantly from then onwards......I would remain cute (please see above pics) and they would continue to feed me some really nice, wet gravy-like chunky food that tasted like chicken. Life was good. My water was refreshed daily and I was stroked loads - genuinely, I was starting to feel like this was home!
Licking and climbing knees were popular during this period of my life.

This is me growing up.......as you can see, at first I was only as big as this step. Just a wee little kitten that struggled getting up to the bedrooms and down to the food in the kitchen. The stairs caused me quite a problem as no one had ever told me how to handle this kind of material. You see, I didn't realise you had to retract your claws when using it...... I had spent ages figuring this out while walking around like" kitten-sticky-tape"....not great....especially as I was trying to impress my humanoids with my quick, panther-like (well, I was hoping) movements.
But, ah-ha, when I did figure it all out, I was fast.....faster than my humanoids would ever be! (cute evil laugh) Up and down, up and down I ran.....phew.....still had to be careful of their enormous feet though. After plenty of laps on the stairs and playful games which included a favourite pastime of mine - swatting string (or anything really, I'm not fussy) - I learnt that if I stayed on the inside of the railing, I was safe and still cute.....did I mention how cute I was?
It was tiring being a kitten, and often I would just need some well deserved rest to gather my thoughts, plan my next move and think of the days activities.....food was also something I thought about regularly.....mmm......fooood....
From the very beginning.....
"Hi, my name is Dexter and I have a natural talent for being ridiculously cute. I'm almost 8 months old now but I thought it important to tell you my story from the very beginning."
This is me (please see above pic) aged 5 weeks old. I'm an adopted X-Persian kitten taken in by 2 humanoids - one man and one women. My first 2 days were traumatic....it started with me being carried away in a box from my mother....at first I thought it was a cruel joke, but then when the vibrations in the box stopped and I heard something hard slam shut.....I realised this was the beginning of my new life.
The box opened and I tumbled out across the cold, slippery floor. The two humanoids who brought me here were enormous....and loud too....like giants from a story my brother used to tell me. I thought they were going to crush me with their gigantic feet or squeeze my adorable face. It was scary. During those first few days, I don't remember much else other than my "safe corner" and all these weird smells and noises. Then I realised something......the humanoids weren't trying to harm me, they were trying to pat me or stroke me or something. How interesting! So, I decided to be brave - and look - there I am - standing on the humanoids couch being cute!!
